Welcome to Bitter Writer, the website for those writers who wish to save a few bucks on postage and submit queries, manuscripts, poems, and screenplays out through the magic and mystery of the Internet. As a writer who has finally accepted the fact that I am a hack, I felt it was time to drop my efforts and instead give a helping hand to those who may actually profit from some aid. Thus this fullish collection of all the links a frugal writer could use to send out their electronic submissions.

This is by no means a complete collection of every publishing company and its website. Nor do I intend it to be such a thing. What I do intend is to give you, the person whose pen and typewriter has given over to the keyboard, a chance to put your work out there without having to wait for the Post Office as well as the notoriously large slush pile.
