Day 6- To the Hostel in Prague
Some guy who spoke English helped us while we were trying to figure out how this whole trolley system worked. He was very friendly and helpful, even go so far as to point out that our stop, Cerny Kun, translated to "Black Horse". I appreciated the effort, though at the time I didn’t care if it translated to "Malarial Swamp" if it meant I could stop carrying around that blasted backpack.
We met with a Canadian headed toward the same location. We ended up talking to him, a guy by the name of "Paddy".
The rest of the day was spent checking in, putting crap away, showering, eating food (prepared by the ladies who run the place) and drinking beer. Specifically, half-liters of beer for around 50 cents each. We got our money’s worth. We wanted to hit the town later that evening, however we decided to take a one-hour nap before we left (we were very tired). I’m sure you can guess what happened, that being we woke up the next morning extremely pissed that we wasted an evening getting a good night’s sleep. In retrospect, that was probably the best thing we could have done.
