Malta 2007
Here is the complete tale of the trip to Malta of one newly minted husband and wife. From the flight there to the flight back (Good Lord, the flight back...), it is the story of two people and one vacation to a place seldom seen by Americans. And why not? Because it's a long-ass flight, that's why. But you'll learn all about that soon enough.
What's Inside
I have organized this travelogue into a sequence of shorter works, as I'm sure most people do not feel like reading the extensively long, excessively tedious stories I usually tell. Plus, I have photographs this time around, so those will be sufficient replacements for what is usually a lot of explication that really makes no sense unless you are looking at a picture. So I might as well just save you the time and show you the picture.
I organized the articles so that each article contains essentially one location. That makes things a little easier to find if you are looking for something specific. It also makes it easier to sneak in quick glances at the site while the boss isn't looking.
However, you will notice a distinct lack of pictures of my wife in this travelogue. This is because I have no intention of ever saying that I posted pictures of my wife on the Internet; I don't care how mundane the actual facts related to that statement may be.

Notes and Acknowledgements:
- The pictures in this travelogue were taken with a Canon Powershot G6. Or at least I was told it was a G6 when I purchased it. There is actually a label on the camera saying that it is a G7, but as far as I can tell Canon never said that they released a G7. Meanwhile the next camera they released was a G8, making me wonder what happened to the G7, which I may or may not have. So I guess I really don't know what kind of camera I used to take the pictures.
- Maybe I should tell people it's a Kodak Disc camera, just to make them wonder.
- Image composites created with whatever the software is that came with the camera.
- Minor image editing performed with SnagIt 8. Mostly cropping, resizing and tilting images to make up for my inability to center a shot or judge right angles. But there was also some color saturation improvement going on, as a few of the shots came out with a particular drabness that was less than inspiring.
- Many of the places we visited allowed photography, but did not allow flash photography. As a result of the long exposure times required for non-flash photography, some of the interior pictures may be on the blurry side.
