Mead of Poetry
A drink made from the dismembered and cooked remains of a great poet. Those who drank it became inspired poets. Odin stole the mead of poetry from a giant. As Odin, transformed into an eagle, was chased by the giant back to Asgard, he spat out the mead to the gods below. Some of it "came out backwards", and this is called the Rhymester's Share. The Rhymester's Share, in plainer English, was either urine or feces.
